Switched Voltage Regulator IC’s Part 1

The PM7744 is a single phase step-down controller with complete control logic and protection to realize in a simple way general DCDC converters by using a compact 3 x 3 mm QFN package. The PMBus™ interface allows device configuration and output voltage, current and controller temperature monitoring. The PM7744 device features a dedicated control loop managing high frequency repetitive load transients maintaining the regulation in all operative conditions. Remote sensing for the regulated voltage allows maintaining 0.5% accuracy on the regulated voltage overload and line variations. The PM7744 device is available in a VFQFPN16, 3 x 3 mm package.
