S12ZVM 16-bit Microcontroller Evaluation Board

The S12ZVMEVB is a development board for the S12 MagniV S12ZVM family of 16-bit MCUs targeted for 2-phase DC and 3-phase BLDC or PMSM motor control applications. The S12ZVM integrates a sophisticated MCU with an S12Z core, a 5V voltage regulator, a LIN physical layer and a gate driver unit capable of controlling up to 6 power MOSFETs and is targeted for automotive applications such as HVAC blowers, engine cooling fans, wiper systems, fuel or water pumps. The S12ZVMEVB is available as a standalone tool and is also available integrated in a BLDC or PMSM motor control kit. There are two versions of the EVB: The S12ZVML12EVB uses the S12ZVML128 integrating a LIN transceiver The S12ZVMC12EVB uses the S12ZVMC128 integrating a voltage regulator controller for an external CAN transceiver
