The PT4823 Excalibur powermodules are a series of isolated tripleoutputDC/DC converters thatoperate from a standard (–48V)central office supply. Rated for up to35W, these regulators are ideal forpowering many mixed logic applications.The triple-output voltagecombination allows for a compactmultiple-output power supply in asingle low-profile DC/DC module.The available output voltageoptions include a low-voltage powerbus for a DSP or ASIC core, andtwo additional standard logic supplyvoltages.The PT4823 series incorporatesmany features to simplify systemintegration. These include a flexibleOn/Off enable control, an inputunder-voltage lock-out, and overtemperatureprotection. All outputshave short-circuit protection and areinternally sequenced to meet thepower-up and power-down requirementsof popular DSP ICs.The PT4823 series is housed ina space-saving solderable case. Themodule requires no external heat sinkand can occupy as little as 1.3 in2 ofPCB area.
