The PT4660 Excalibur Seriesis a 30-A rated, dual-output isolatedDC/DC converter that combinesstate-of-the-art power conversiontechnology with unparalleled flexibility.These modules operate froma standard telecom (–48 V) centraloffice (CO) supply to produce twoindependantly regulated outputs.The PT4660 series is characterizedwith high efficiencies and ultra-fasttransient response, and incorporatesmany features to facilitate systemintegration. These include a flexible“On/Off” enable control, outputcurrent limit, over-temperatureprotection, and an input under-voltagelockout (UVLO). In addition, bothoutput voltages are designed to meetthe power-up/power-down sequencingrequirements of popular DSPs.The PT4660 series is housed inspace-saving solderable copper case.The package does not require aheatsink and is available in bothvertical and horizontal configurations,including surface mount. The‘N’ configuration occupies less than 2in² of PCB area.
