The PT6981 Excalibur series ofpower modules are dual output integratedswitching regulators (ISRs) specificallydesigned to power mixed signal ICs.Operating from a 12-V input bus, the dualoutput provides power for both the digitalI/O logic and a DSP core from a singlemodule. Both output voltages are internallysequenced during power-up and powerdownto comply with the requirements ofthe latest DSP chips. Each output is independentlyadjustable or can be set to atleast one alternative bus voltage with asimple pin-strap. The modules are madeavailable in a space-saving solderable case.The features include output current limitand short-circuit protection.
