These ISRs are compatiblewith most TO-220 style linear regulators,and when employed as a linear replacement,provide significant benefits inboth efficiency and power dissipation.They are recommended for use in a widevariety of on-board power regulationapplications. These include computer,data storage, industrial controls, andbattery powered equipment. Modulesare laser-trimmed for optimal outputvoltage accuracy, and exhibit excellentline and load regulation. The PT5100also features output current limitingand thermal shutdown protection.
