DeepCover Security Manager for NV SRAM Control 25-Pin CSBGA T/R

DeepCover embedded security solutions cloak sensitive data under multiple layers of advanced physical security to provide the most secure key storage possible. The DeepCover Security Manager (DS3605) is the integration of a nonvolatile (NV) SRAM controller, real-time clock (RTC), CPU supervisor, and temperature sensor to provide tamper protection for secure transaction terminals and other security-sensitive applications. The RTC can be used with a common 32.768kHz 6pF watch crystal. Access to the time-of-day and tamper monitoring is conducted through an I²C-compatible interface. In the event of a primary power failure, an external battery source is automatically switched on to keep the internal and external memory, RTC, and tamper-detection circuitry alive. Additionally, output signals are provided to reset the microprocessor, indicate battery operation, and power external circuitry from either the system supply or the battery.
