The ISL6843 family of adjustable frequency, low power, pulsewidth modulating (PWM) current mode controllers isdesigned for a wide range of power conversion applicationsincluding boost, flyback, and isolated output configurations.Peak current mode control effectively handles powertransients and provides inherent overcurrent protection.This advanced BiCMOS design is pin compatible with theindustry standard 384x family of controllers and offerssignificantly improved performance. Features include lowoperating current, 60µA start-up current, adjustableoperating frequency to 2MHz, and high peak current drivecapability with 20ns rise and fall times.
