The HVS zinc die-cast frames for the HVS modular inserts distinguish with a variety of innovative solutions. TE developed one piece frames to prevent the loss of modules during the installation and maintenance process and offers a more reliable and user-friendly solution. The moulded pin and socket contact for ground (first make last break) ensure additional stability and improved performance. Up to 6 single modules fit into a size 8 frame whereby guidances in the frame and the modules prevent twist locking. The frames also capture coding set for up to 36 different coding positions and prohibit mixing up of damages due to interchanging of adjoining connectors. A tool-less insertion and extraction of modular inserts simplifies the handling and reduces tooling costs as well as installation time.
